Northern Ireland under-21s boss Ian Baraclough is prepared for a tough Euro 2021 qualification campaign, as his side aim to build on their remarkable runners-up finish in the Euro 2019 qualification, beating Spain along the way, despite being seeded bottom in the group.

For the 2021 campaign, Baraclough’s men will face Denmark and Romania, who have both qualified for the 2019 tournament, as well as Ukraine, Finland and Malta in Group Eight.

Matches will take place between March 2019 and October 2020, with the nine group winners going through to the finals alongside the tournament hosts, Hungary and Slovenia, while the final berth will be available to the winner of the runners-up play-off.
