Northern Ireland under-21s boss Ian Baraclough, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, following a hugely successful first year in charge.

Despite being lowest seeds, Baraclough led his starlets to runners-up spot in Group 2 of the UEFA U21s European Championships qualifiers.

With six wins and two draws from their ten competitive games, including a landmark 2-1 win against Spain in Albacete, Baraclough’s men agonisingly missed out on a play-off place, but can ultimately be proud of their campaign.
