NICHOLSON AIDING DEVELOPMENT OF DANISH PLAYERS
Passionate about helping young players develop and aiding clubs achieve sustainable status, former Bangor City manager Kevin Nicholson is now utilising that passion as a member of the team at Double Pass.
The youngest English UEFA Pro Licence holder, who led Bangor City to some historic highlights, has spent the past six months pursuing a different pathway in order to help players and clubs improve their performance, building a portfolio of educational and consultancy work.
During that time, Kevin has worked with both First Division and Super Liga clubs in Denmark, covering topics such as player development, coach education and the transition of talented young players into first-team set-ups.
Nicholson has also worked to aid the development of youth academy programmes, by providing first-class consultancy to rising clubs around the world.
This summer, Kevin will be taking his skills and knowledge to the United States of America, where he will be working with some US soccer development academies.
Alongside his consultancy work, Nicholson has also been working and studying clubs in Belgium, Germany and Norway; making professional contributions whilst also learning about clubs’ football philosophies and cultures at both first team and academy level.
It is work that Kevin has enjoyed, whilst maintaining his love of being on the pitch coaching players – something that Nicholson is keen to continue throughout his career.
