Current Chesterfield footballer and PFA Chairman Ritchie Humphreys has agreed to work with Oporto Sports as his official publicists.
Humphreys represented England at under-21 level and has enjoyed a remarkable twenty years in the professional game to-date, playing for Sheffield Wednesday, Cambridge United and Hartlepool United, as well as experiencing loan spells at Scunthorpe United, Cardiff City and Port Vale.
In 2013 Humphreys was named as the Chairman of the Professional Footballers’ Association, taking over from former Chairman Clarke Carlisle.
Speaking about the partnership, Humphreys said: “I’m pleased to be working with Oporto to build upon my existing media experience and to help develop my skills in this area.”
Humphreys is also a qualified UEFA A License coach.
Oporto Sports director, Dean Eldredge, added: “Ritchie has played at all levels, has carved out an excellent career in the game and is respected by his colleagues and supporters alike.
