Oporto Sports client and FC Magpies manager Nathan Rooney celebrated his 100th game as a manager earlier this week, with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Manchester 62, in the Gibraltar National League.
The result took Rooney’s men in to second place ahead of the Christmas break. His 100 games as a manager have seen 74 wins, 14 draws and only 12 defeats. He has also reached three cup finals, winning two of them (Gibraltar National Cup and Super Cup), achieved two top-three league finishes and qualified for the Europa Conference League twice.
Nathan managed Colne Football Club, before taking his current role in Gibraltar, and prior to his management career coached across academy and senior level at various clubs in the EFL including Blackburn Rovers, Fleetwood Town, Crawley Town, Carlisle United and Port Vale.
