Oporto Sports client and Barrow AFC head coach Andy Whing spoke with Sky Sports’ football journalist Adam Bate for an in-depth feature ahead of the new League Two season.
Andy spoke about being the underdog throughout his playing career, and channelling that energy to help Barrow overcome sides with bigger budgets, while also understanding the club’s identity.
Barrow’s CEO Iain Wood also contributed to the feature, speaking about Whing, he said: “He is talented but he is also down to earth and has got time for everybody. He fits what a Barrow person is and they have bought into him already.”
