Oporto Sports client Michael Appleton continues to defy the odds as his Lincoln City side sit proudly in second place in League 1.
On Tuesday evening Lincoln recorded an emphatic 4-1 away win at Shrewsbury Town in the EFL Trophy second round, securing them a home tie against Accrington Stanley in the last 16, Northern Section round three.
Appleton’s side face back-to-back home games in League 1 starting with giants Sunderland at home on Saturday and Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday.
