Oporto Sports client and Blackpool head coach Michael Appleton guided his side to a famous 4-1 victory over Premier League Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round last Saturday.
The win earns Appleton’s men a fourth round tie away at Premier League Southampton later this month.
There was more positive news for Blackpool fans, with the return of star man Josh Bowler, along with the loan signing of Morgan Rogers, who played a key role in Lincoln City’s run to the League 1 play-off final under Appleton in 2021.
