Oporto Sports client and broadcaster Lynsey Hooper interviewed Cardiff City legend and friend of Oporto Sol Bamba for Football Focus, which will be aired on BBC One on Saturday from midday.
Sol and his wife Chloe spoke to Lynsey at their home in Wales about the effects of Bamba’s cancer diagnosis, the treatment and recovery, leading to his return to the pitch in the Bluebirds’ final game of the season against Rotherham United on Saturday 8 May.
The feature is Hooper’s first appearance on Football Focus, but she is a regular reporter for BBC Final Score.
