Oporto Sports client and SC Kriens head coach Bruno Berner has completed his UEFA Pro Licence this week – as well as signing a one-year agreement to remain at Kriens until summer 2021.
Berner won the Swiss third tier title in his first season at the club, then last season retained the club’s second tier status, while reaching the Swiss Cup quarter-finals and this season has guided the semi-professional side to an almost implausible promotion challenge to reach the Super League.
As well as balancing his club role, Berner has enjoyed a healthy punditry career, working on Swiss television, whilst studying for his Pro Licence qualification.
