SC Kriens head coach and Oporto Sports client Bruno Berner recorded a final day 2-1 victory over second placed Vaduz, to secure fifth place in the Swiss second tier.
In Berner’s three seasons in charge of Kriens he has won the third tier title, finished eighth and reached the Swiss Cup quarter-finals, before finishing fifth this year.
These achievements are made even more remarkable by the fact that SC Kriens are a semi-professional side, competing against professional clubs, and by the end of the season Bruno was left with only 12 available players after members of his squad were sold.
Berner has also recently gained his UEFA Pro Licence qualification and is looking ahead to his fourth season at the helm in Kriens.
