Berner leaves SC Kriens

Oporto Sports client Bruno Berner has left his role as head coach of SC Kriens after a hugely successful four year spell at the club.

Berner guided Kriens to the Swiss third tier title in his first season in charge in 2018, before keeping his semi-professional side in the second tier for three consecutive seasons, playing against full-time clubs with bigger budgets. Kriens also reached the Swiss Cup quarter-finals twice.

This summer will see Berner busy with media commitments as well, as he is a regular pundit for SRF in Switzerland and will be offering expert analysis during the Euros, as well as an appearance on Sky Sports News in June to preview Switzerland’s hopes for the tournament.
