Oporto Sports client and SC Kriens manager Bruno Berner has once again confirmed his side’s status in the Swiss second tier, against the odds, following an emphatic 3-0 victory over Winterthur last Friday.
After winning the third tier title in his first season with the club, Berner has kept the semi-professional side in the second tier for three consecutive seasons, securing their position for a fourth season despite having a smaller budget than the rest of the division.
Berner has also reached two Swiss Cup quarter-finals during the past three seasons, and will face a trip to his former club Grasshoppers Zurich tonight (Friday) for the last game of the season.
