Oporto Sports client Bruno Berner will take his F.C. Tuggen side to Gran Canaria on Saturday for a week of warm weather training, aided by the loan signing of Swiss under-20 goalkeeper Fabian Fellmann from F.C. Zurich II until the end of the season.

Fellmann will reunite with Berner, who managed the young ‘keeper during his spell in charge of F.C. Zurich’s under-18 side in the 2013/14 season.

Speaking about the signing, Berner said: “Fabian suits my playing philosophy to play out from the back. He plays like an outfield player, as a modern goalkeeper should be able to do and he is looking forward to joining us and to taking the next step in his promising career.”

On Wednesday evening, F.C. Tuggen will play their final pre-season game, facing Spanish Tercera Division side UD San Fernando, before they resume Swiss Promotion League action on Saturday 4 March, away to Zurich II.
