Everyone at Oporto Sports would like to wish our good friend Sven-Göran Eriksson all the best for a full recovery, after the recent announcement of some health issues.
In a statement on Karlstad Football Club’s website, where he holds the role of Sporting Director, Sven said: “I, Sven-Göran Svennis Eriksson, have, due to health problems – which are under investigation – chosen to limit my public duties for the time being. Now I focus on health, family and limited assignments for, among other things, Karlstad Football. I thank all the support from friends and football contacts and ask you to respect my decision and my privacy.”
