Oporto Sports client Birmingham County FA and its Save Today, Play Tomorrow programme picked up the bronze award in the sustainability category at the Football Business Awards on Friday 26 May 2023.
Shortlisted alongside several professional football clubs, the bronze award served as recognition for Save Today, Play Tomorrow’s efforts to reduce grassroots football’s environmental impact on the planet.
Richard Lindsay, Save Today, Play Tomorrow lead at Birmingham CFA, said: “To be included in the shortlist for the sustainability category of the Football Business Awards 2023 alongside Liverpool, Brighton, Reading and Hibernian was an amazing achievement for the County FA and the Save Today, Play Tomorrow programme.”
