Oporto Sports would like to congratulate our client and friend, Bruno Berner, on his appointment as head coach of Swiss giants Grasshoppers Club Zurich, on a two-year contract.
Bruno, who won two Swiss League titles with GCZ as a player, returns to Zurich following a successful season as head coach of FC Winterthur, securing their status in the Swiss Super League against the odds, which followed a spell as Swiss U19s boss.
Speaking about his new role, Berner said: “I am very happy to return to Grasshopper Club Zurich, a club that means a lot to me. The anticipation is great to take on this new task together with the club to create a sustainable and successful future and at the same time to further develop the individual players. With a lot of passion and hard work, we want to inspire our fans again and give them a lot of joy with our way of playing football.”
