Oporto Sports would like to congratulate our client Bruno Berner on his appointment as head coach of Swiss Challenge League side, Neuchatel Xamax.
Berner departed his role as assistant coach of A-League side Macarthur Bulls last week, and will begin his new project in the second tier on 1 June.
Bruno’s last roles in Switzerland were in charge of Grasshopper Club Zurich and before that Winterthur, in the Super League. He managed in the Challenge League with SC Kriens, retaining their status for three seasons, despite being the only semi-professional side in the division, and also reached the Swiss Cup quarter-finals on two occasions.
