Oporto Sports client and Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke was recognised at the 41st FWA Northern Managers’ Awards dinner for guiding his side to League 2 play-off success last season.
Clarke was one of 11 managers acknowledged at the awards dinner, held at the Edwardian Hotel in Manchester on Sunday evening.
Speaking after collecting his award, Darrell said: “I would like to thank the owners at the football club, I have fantastic owners.
“My staff too; on a personal front it was a tough year for myself and I have a tremendous backroom team that helped me through that.”
