Oporto Sports client Darrell Clarke will take charge of his 500th game as a manager tomorrow evening, as his Port Vale side face a home EFL Cup tie against League 1 giants, Sunderland, kick off 7.45pm.
Clarke’s 499 games include 157 with Salisbury City, 246 with Bristol Rovers, 76 with Walsall and 19 in charge of Port Vale, where he took over in February.
The 43-year-old has won four promotions as a manager, recording a mammoth 221 wins with a 44% win rate.
