Oporto Sports is delighted to confirm that Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke has signed a five-year representation agreement with us, confirming a long-term commitment from both parties.
Clarke initially signed a two-year agreement with Oporto Sports in summer 2021, and the following season saw him guide Port Vale to promotion to League 1 via the League 2 play-offs, beating Swindon Town in the semi-finals and Mansfield Town at Wembley in the final.
Speaking about the announcement, Oporto director, Dean Eldredge, said: “We are very proud to extend our partnership with Darrell. He is not only an exceptionally talented football manager, with a bright strategic mind and a strong winning mentality, but he is good man with morals that match our own.
“We believe in Darrell implicitly and we are delighted that he has the support of such a well-run football club in Port Vale. We wish Darrell and Vale all the best for the 2022/23 season and the longer-term.”
Clarke agreed a five-year contract with Port Vale, announced in May.
