Oporto Sports is delighted to announce that we are now acting as the official agents for Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke.
The agreement sees Oporto build on the extensive publicity services provided to Clarke in recent years.
Clarke has reached 498 games as a manager, across spells with Salisbury City, Bristol Rovers, Walsall and his current role with Port Vale, achieving four promotions, recording a 44% win percentage and winning numerous personal accolades in the process.
Speaking about the announcement, Oporto director Dean Eldredge said: “We are very proud to be extending the scope of our work with Darrell, playing a more prominent role in his career.
“Darrell is undoubtedly a talented manager, with strong leadership and motivation skills, a winning mentality and an impressive track record of improving clubs, developing players and generating considerable revenue for the clubs he has served.
“His refreshingly honest and forthright approach in his media work has earned him many admirers and we look forward to supporting him as he aims to achieve success with Port Vale.”
Darrell Clarke said: “I’m very pleased to be working with Dean and Oporto Sports and for them to be advising me on my career as well as my media work. I am completely committed to achieving success for Port Vale Football Club and I am optimistic about what the future holds for us.”
Darrell and Port Vale will open their League 2 season away to Northampton Town on Saturday 7 August.
