Oporto Sports client and Stevenage manager Steve Evans has been nominated for the League 2 Manager of the Month award for April.
Despite losing the first game of the month 1-0 to Oldham Athletic, Evans inspired an immediate response, winning three and drawing one of the next four games, conceding just one goal, and securing the club’s EFL status in the process.
Stevenage ended the season with a resounding 4-2 home win over Salford City, finishing in 21st place and nine points clear of relegation, with Steve picking up four wins and a draw from his nine games in charge.
