Oporto Sports client and Partick Thistle Sporting Director Ian Baraclough can look back on his one-year anniversary of joining the club with great pride on the progress made on and off the field.
Ian appointed Mark Wilson as head coach, and the club is currently in second place in the Scottish Championship, just five points behind St. Johnstone, and reached the quarter-finals of both major cup competitions in the same season – the first time this has been achieved in over 40 years.
Following a summer overhaul of the playing squad, the average age was reduced from 27.5 to 23.3 years old, increasing the potential value of the group, with the club also working closely with lower league clubs to secure loans for young professionals and academy players.
Partick Thistle have secured a promotion play-off position, performing above their budget and will hope to finish the season strongly.
