Oporto Sports client and Partick Thistle sporting director Ian Baraclough spoke to the media recently to describe his harrowing experience this summer, when a swimming accident while on honeymoon in the Maldives left him fearing he may not walk again.
Ian was lifted up by a wave and sent crashing in to the sand. Thankfully, he received expert medical care, and despite breaking four vertebrae, returned to work as soon as possible and is continuing his recovery.
Partick Thistle face Glasgow Celtic at home on Sunday in the League Cup quarter-finals, kick-off 3.30pm, and are currently third in the Championship table, just three points off top place.
