Johnson features in fcbusiness

Oporto Sports client and England U21s Elite BAME Coach Michael Johnson is the latest subject to be interviewed for fcbusiness feature Managing in the Modern Game.

Johnson, who guided the Guyanese national team to the 2019 Gold Cup, the first major tournament in their history, spoke to Oporto director Dean Eldredge covering the importance of education and qualifications in the game – something he values greatly.

Capped 13 times by Jamaica, Michael has recently gained the UEFA Executive Master for International Players, added to his Master of Sport Directorship from Manchester Metropolitan University, his LMA Diploma in Football Management and youth and senior coaching qualifications, including the UEFA Pro Licence.
