Oporto Sports client Lancashire FA has launched a Referee Training Fund with the backing of former England international goalkeeper David James, who is supporting the initiative financially.
The fund will cover the costs for ten candidates (five male and five female), who live within the Lancashire FA boundaries, to attend an FA Referee Course delivered by the County FA and take their first step on the pathway to becoming a qualified referee.
