We would like to congratulate Oporto Sports client, Leicester City Hockey Club, on the opening of their new Olympic-standard pitch at St. Margaret’s Pastures.
Over 250 people were in attendance to mark the special day, including former Leicester and GB Olympic gold medal winner, Maddie Hinch, alongside fellow past members of the club who have gone on to play at the Olympics in Barcelona, Atlanta, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
Leicester City Mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, and Councillor Dr Susan Barton, Lord Mayor of Leicester, were also both on hand to show their support, and had the honour of helping cut the ribbon.
