Friend of Oporto Sports, Luke Dowling, was a guest on talkSPORT last Thursday, speaking in the studio with hosts Marcus Buckland and Darragh MacAnthony, on the White and Jordan show.
This was Dowling’s second appearance this year, as he discussed the role of a sporting director, the intricacies of the transfer market, and his own experiences of working with various managers at some notable clubs.
Dowling has held the role of sporting director at the likes of Watford, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion, as well as working on the recruitment side at Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday.
