Oporto Sports client and FC Magpies manager Nathan Rooney has recently been featured by The i in an exclusive interview with their chief football writer, Dan Storey.
Nathan spoke about his coaching journey, working with Blackburn Rovers, Fleetwood Town, Crawley Town and others, before managing Colne FC and his current role with FC Magpies in Gibraltar.
Last season, Rooney guided his side to their first ever cup final and qualified for European competition, being edged out of a glamourous tie with FC Basel by Crusaders. This season, they are in second place in the league and are the first side to beat perennial champions Lincoln Red Imps in 620 days.
