North Riding FA wins Sports Initiative of the Year accolade

Oporto Sports client North Riding FA have been presented with the Sports Initiative of the Year accolade at this year’s Yorkshire Prestige Awards.

The award recognises North Riding FA’s commitment to player welfare, through the introduction of ECG heart screenings across the women’s football pathway locally. Teaming up with Cardiologic and supported by the North Riding Football League, the initiative has provided vital cardiac health checks to players at all levels of the women’s game, helping to identify potential heart conditions early.
