Oporto Sports client Northamptonshire FA have recently formally completed the long-term lease for Kettering Sports Park with North Northamptonshire Council. This milestone officially triggers the opening of the site under Northamptonshire FA management and marks the beginning of a new era for the site.
The lease finalisation also follows the celebration of a major £1 million redevelopment of the site, supported by the Lionesses Futures Fund and delivered in partnership with North Northamptonshire Council and the Football Foundation. This investment has transformed the venue into a state-of-the-art hub designed to expand access and opportunities for women and girls in football across the region.
