Oporto Sports client and Our Game Football founder Francis Duku spoke to Sky Sports feature writer Adam Bate for an in-depth interview, published on Tuesday.
Our Game Football is a members’ union, aimed at helping players and clubs protect themselves against the impact of injury, whilst also offering retail discounts, disciplinary support and counselling services among other things.
Francis spoke about how his own injury issues as a player provided his motivation to create Our Game Football and help players to avoid the pitfalls associated with the game. He is also working with Oporto client and Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton to attempt to tailor the service for League 1 and 2.
