Oporto Sports is delighted to have completed the deal for our client Richard O’Donnell to join League One and FA Cup quarter-finalists, Port Vale.
Richard joins Vale as first-team coach, linking up with Jon Brady and Gary Mills.
O’Donnell’s coaching career began with Hull City in 2008, where he progressed to the role of PDP coach, before joining Michael Appleton at Lincoln City in 2020 where he spent two-and-a-half years as first team development coach, reaching the League One play-off final in 2021. He continued the partnership with Appleton at Blackpool in the EFL Championship, Charlton Athletic and most recently with Shrewsbury Town.
