Oporto Sports client and Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens has enjoyed an eventful week, as his team look to continue their unbeaten run.
Yesterday, Wellens was a guest on BBC Radio 5 Live’s 72+ podcast alongside Aaron Paul and Jobi McAnuff.
Today, Richie has been named as the League One manager of the month for December, and tomorrow, his side take on Championship Derby County in the FA Cup third round, kick-off 6pm.
Orient are on a ten match unbeaten run, with nine wins and one draw, which has taken them to eighth place, just four points off the play-offs, in to the FA Cup third round, and also the last 16 of the EFL Trophy on Tuesday, when they face Oporto client Alex Revell’s Stevenage at home.
Tomorrow’s game against Derby County will also represent Wellens’ 150th game as Orient boss.
