Oporto Sports client and FC Bruno’s Magpies head coach Nathan Rooney has guided his side to consecutive Gibraltar cup finals, following a 1-0 win over Mons Calpe in the semi-final.
Rooney has overseen a complete turnaround in FC Magpies’ fortunes, taking over last season with the side near the bottom of the table, leading them to third place, a cup final and a place in Europe. With three league games to go, Magpies are third again, with the chance to finish second and a Rock Cup final against holders, Lincoln Red Imps, later this month.
