Ryan Garry named as England under-18s head coach

Oporto Sports is delighted with the confirmation that our client, former Arsenal U23s assistant manager Ryan Garry has been named as the new England under-18s head coach.

Ryan’s role will also see him contribute to all aspects of England Football’s national teams programme. His first games in charge of the U18s will be against Norway on Thursday 7 October and Russia on Monday 11 October, with both matches played at the Marbella Football Centre.

Garry played for England himself up to under-20s level, before injuries curtailed a playing career in 2011 which saw him represent Arsenal and Bournemouth. He went on to coach at various levels at both clubs, before joining The FA.

Ryan will name his first squad at 1pm this Friday. Wishing you all the best from everyone at Oporto, Ryan!
