Oporto Sports client and England under-18s head coach Ryan Garry guided his side to victory in the four nations tournament in Zagreb this week.
Garry’s Young Lions started the competition with a 3-2 win over Austria on Tuesday 7 June, before a 2-0 victory over Wales on Friday. They were then held to a 0-0 draw by hosts, Croatia, yesterday (Monday), with all drawn games going to a penalty shootout to provide players with tournament shootout experience – England winning 4-3 from the spot.
This triumph takes Ryan’s record to five wins and three draws from ten games in charge, during a successful year of development for his players.
