Steve Cotterill nominated for Freedom of Cheltenham

Oporto Sports client and Cheltenham Town manager Steve Cotterill has been formally nominated for the Freedom of the Borough of Cheltenham, following a large supporter-led petition to honour him.

Steve won three promotions for Cheltenham, lifting them from the Southern League to League One, as well as winning the FA Trophy. Since returning to the club last year, Steve has secured Cheltenham’s Football League status, moving them from bottom of the table to 18th, finishing a remarkable 13 points clear of relegation and winning League Two Manager of the Month for October.

During his career to date as a manager, Cotterill has managed an incredible 1059 games, winning 432 and recording a hugely impressive win rate of 40.8%.
