Oporto Sports is delighted to have completed the deal for friend of the company, Mike Stowell, to join Israeli giants Maccabi Tel-Aviv as their first-team goalkeeping coach.
Stowell joined Leicester City in 2005 and departed the club last month, having held the role of goalkeeper and first-team coach, while also working as caretaker manager for ten games, across six spells.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv face FC Petrocub Hînceşti of Moldova in the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round first leg at home this evening, a competition in which Stowell helped Leicester to reach the semi-finals in 2022, before a narrow exit to eventual winners, Roma.
