Oporto Sports UK PR client Sven-Göran Eriksson has been named as the Sporting Director of Swedish Division 1 side, IF Karlstad Fotboll.
Sven has worked during the past year as an advisor to the club, but has now been promoted to this senior role to help the club as they aim to climb the Swedish football league.
This is Sven’s first official appointment since his role as national team manager of The Philippines between 2018 and 2019.
