A number of teams under the guidance of managers represented by Oporto Sports are continuing their preparations for the new football season in promising fashion.
Nigel Pearson’s Bristol City ran out 2-0 winners in their pre-season friendly with Cheltenham Town on Wednesday (6 July) afternoon, whilst new Blackpool manager Michael Appleton (pictured) oversaw a 2-0 warm-up win over Southport.
Steve Evans’ Stevenage side have also started their pre-season campaign strongly, collecting wins against Jersey Bulls and Hitchin Town. Darrell Clarke’s Port Vale commence their pre-season fixtures this evening (7 July), as the Vale take on Kidsgrove Athletic (7pm).
