Oporto Sports client Dean Hammond spoke to Paul Doyle of The Guardian about his recent role as Loans Manager of Leicester City, and the progress of England prospect Harvey Barnes.
Barnes experienced loan spells with MK Dons, Barnsley and West Bromwich Albion, before claiming a place in Leicester’s attack and flourishing under Brendan Rodgers’ management, with Leicester claiming a place in the UEFA Europa League.
Hammond played a crucial role in Barnes’ career development during his time at Leicester; a role he had to vacate due to his wife requiring serious back surgery.
