Oporto Sports is delighted to announce a working partnership with Gillingham manager Steve Evans.
The agreement will see Oporto act as Evans’ official agents and publicists.
Evans has managed over 1000 games achieving over 450 wins for Stamford, Boston United (two spells), Crawley Town, Rotherham United, Leeds United, Mansfield Town, Peterborough United and Gillingham, winning six promotions.
Oporto Sports director, Dean Eldredge, said: “Steve is a strong, tenacious character, who speaks his mind, building competitive sides with a winning mentality across the Football League.
“From meeting him, it’s clear he retains a strong desire to achieve success for Gillingham Football Club against the odds in League 1 and we look forward to supporting him on that journey.
“Since leaving his previous representatives in June, Steve has taken the time to speak with a number of agencies and we are pleased, after several meetings, that he has chosen to work with Oporto.”

Steve, whose current three-year contract with Gillingham is until June 2022, guided the side to a highly respectable 10th place in League 1 last season, and they are competitive this season despite the modest resources within such a strong division.
